The National Residential Landlords Association (NRLA)  https://www.nrla.org.uk/

This organisation has a landlord's accreditaion scheme.  The courses run by the NRLA are aimed at making sure that landlords act in a professional manner and stay within the law.  To remain accredited you must follow their recommended CPD scheme.  The organisation also has an extensive library, an accredited suppliers list and a free help line for members during office hours.

We recommend one of the few books on the market which shows the very basics of property accounting.  The book is titled "Property Accounting with Sage - With Worked Examples".  The author of this book id Frank Mason who is an accredited member of the NRLA and a Director of Legendary Lettings Ltd.  The book is available at all good bookstores and Amazon.
